Dark Roast
Alpenglow House Blend:  Signature blend using three organic origins and one organic blend.  Dark roast finish.  Moderate acidity, full body.  Sweet and spicey aroma with deep complex, rich flavor. Lingering sweet aftertaste.

French Roast:  Traditional blend using three origins.  Full dark roast.  Sweet aroma with smooth, complex and intense flavor.  Moderate acidity, full body, solid, heavy lingering after taste.

Italian Roast:  Traditional Blend using three origins.  Full dark espresso roast, complex bright aroma, sweet, citrusy flavor.  Assertive acidity, full body, lingering , clean aftertaste.

Vienna Roast:  Traditional roast using three mild origins.  Medium dark roast, rich sweet aroma, smooth complex flavor with sweet finish.  Mild acidity, medium/full body, sweetly disappearing aftertaste.

Sumatra Mandheling:  Dark roast, mild acidity and full body.  Malty aroma and nutty flavor with earthy and woody notes on the finish.

Rainforest Blend:  House blend using three origins.  Multi-roast with dark finish.  Complex sweet and spicy aroma with rich intense flavor.  Moderate acidity, full body, bright , clean and sweet aftertaste.

Full City Roast
Costa Rica Tarrazu:  Estate coffee, hand sorted and naturally produced, using no petro-chemical fertilizers or pest control (owner refuses to invest in organic certification).  Shade grown, full city roast, traditional spicy aroma and sweet flavor with assertive acidity and lingering rich aftertaste.

Guatemala Antiaua:  Estate and shade grown.  Sweet and spicy aroma, rich clean flavor with chocolaty character.  Moderate to assertive acidity, solid with lingering aftertaste.

Medium Roast
Colombia:  Santander region, supreme grade coffee.  Moderate acidity, medium body, sweet maple aroma with buttery caramel flavor. Cleanly disappearing aftertaste.  A wonderful breakfast coffee.

Ethiopia: 
Moka Harrar:  Red Sea region, dry processed coffee in which the fruit meat is left on cherry and dried in the sun, imparting intense fruity and earthy character to coffee through complete fermentation.  Shade grown coop produced.  Fruity, blueberry aroma with winey flavor, exhibiting notes of chocolate.  Assertive acidity, medium body, solid, bright aftertaste.
Ethiopia Yrgacheffe:  Grown in Central Ethiopia at 8,000 feet on the former summer estate of Emperor Haile Selassie I.  Fair trade certified, washed coffee, coop produced and shade grown.  Floral, sweet aroma, complex flavor with notes of citrus and chocolate.  Moderate acidity, full body, clean and lingering aftertaste.

Panama Estate:  Non-organic, estate produced.  Malty aroma, nutty and herby flavor with undertones of cooked beef and tobacco.  Pleasant lingering aftertaste.

Java Estate:  Syrupy-rich, sweet aroma and smooth nutty flavor.  Mild acidity, full body.  One of the roasters favorites.

Certified Organic Sumatra Gayoland:  Coop produced, shade grown.  Dark roast, sweet earthy aroma with malty rich flavor.  Mild acidity, full body with a solid lingering aftertaste.

Organic Ethiopia Moka Harrar:  Assertive acidity, medium body with a solid bright aftertaste.  Read full description under medium roast.

Organic Ethiopia Yrgacheffe:  Moderate acidity, full body, clean and lingering aftertaste.  Read full description under medium roast.

Certified Organic Brazil Sul de Minas:  Coop-produced, shade grown.  Dark roast, chocolaty and fruity aroma with sweet flavor, exhibiting notes of spice and prunes.  Mild acidity, rich medium body with a cleanly disappearing aftertaste.

Certified Organic Colombia Mesa de los Santos:  Moderate acidity, medium body and medium roast.  Read full description under medium roast.

Certified Organic Peru Norte:  Bird- friendly certified shade grown, coop-produced.  Dark roast.  Complex aroma with notes of cedar, honey, vanilla and floral.  Delicate, yet full sweet flavor with notes of dark chocolate, malt and vanilla.  Mild acidity and velvety, round body.  Clean lingering aftertaste.

Certified Organic Dolomiti Espresso Blend:  House espresso blend, done in traditional Northern Italian style, which is lighter dark roast with softer character, as compared with Southern Italian intense dark style espresso roasts.  Three origins in blend.  Dark roast.  Sweet aroma and flavor.  Medium body, mild acidity, smooth finish with lingering aftertaste.

Certified Organic Mexico Pluma Hidalgo:  Full city roast, delicate aroma with floral and spicy notes and sweet cacao flavor.  Mild acidity, light body with a sweet clean aftertaste.

SWP Decaf Organic Sierra Blend:  Sweet water process, full city roast, mild acidity and full body.  Sweet nutty and rich flavor.

Teas

Black Teas
Ceylon Supreme:  A black curly leaf from Sri Lanka.  Steeps a well-balanced body and flavor.  A pleasant every day tea.

China Keemun:  A superb tea from North China.  Possesses a fine bouquet, full body and sweet liquor.

Darjeeling (Badamtam):  A fancy premium tea grown on the southern slopes of the Himalaya in India.  Produces a full-bodied, rich, red liquor with a slightly nutty flavor.

Lapsang Souchong:  From the Chinese mountains of Northern Fujian, the long tea leaves are processed over pine fires, absorbing a smoky flavor and producing a smooth and smoky liquor.

Green Teas
China Floral Ti Kuan Yin (Oolong):  An elegant tea with floral bouquet and complex aftertaste.  Excellent for several infusions.

China Imperial Gold Oolong:  A sweet fragrant Oolong.  The intact, tender young leaves infuse a delicate gold liquor.

China Lungching (Dragonwell):  Great Skill is required in firing these leaves from the West Lake region of China.  The flat green leaves produce a clear sweet, yellow-green liquor.

China Pinhead Gunpowder:  Known in China as “Pearl Tea”  because of its tightly rolled leaves.  This green tea is strong in character.

China Super Yin Hao Jasmine:  This silver-tipped tea has been cured with Jasmine flowers, producing a delicate and floral liquor.  Great as an afternoon tea.

Japanese Genmaicha:  A popular Japanese green tea enhanced with toasted rice and popped corn.

Japanese Sencha:  These Japanese green tea leaves have been steamed to seal in Freshness.  The bright green flat leaves produce a delicately sweet flavored liquor with a dry finish.

Young Hyson:  Prepared in Formosa (Taiwan) from young tea leaves, the flavor is fresh green and full bodied.

Breakfast Teas
Decaf English Breakfast-CO2 Process:  A blend of Indian and Chinese Black teas.  The cup is medium-bodied with bright clean character and smooth finish.  Decaffeinated using CO2 process.

English Breakfast:  A blend of Indian and Chinese black teas.  The cup is a medium-bodied with a bright clean character and smooth finish.

Irish Breakfast:  A blend of Indian black teas.  Full Body and complex rich flavor.

Russian Caravan:  A blend of Ceylon and Lapsang Souchong teas.  A rich full-bodied cup with a smoky finish.

Scented Teas
Apricot Scented:  A touch of marigold flower petals and essence of apricot enhance this China black tea.

Black Currant Scented:  This flowery Orange Pekoe black China tea has been blended with blackberry leaves and enhanced of black currant to give it a full and smooth berry flavor.

Chai Tea:  India Assam and Ceylon teas blended with cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, cloves and black pepper.

Earl Grey:  A premium blend of China black and Formosa green teas.  Enhanced with bergamot oil, the liquor is flowery fragrant, rich and full-bodied.

Mango Scented:  Marigold petals and the essence of mango enhance this China black tea.

Orange Spice:  The flavors of allspice, cinnamon, clove and orange have been blended with China black tea.  The liquor is rich, lively and spicy.

Chamomile Flower:  This pungently aromatic flower concentrates its healing energies on the digestive tract working as a complete cleanser.  The infusion is also known to aid in the prevention of migraine headaches.

Chamomile Spice:  Allspice, clove and cinnamon, have been blended with the pungent flavor of the chamomile flower to produce a herbal infusion best enjoyed on cold days or any evening.

Energy Infusion:  Contains Green Tea (approx. 1.5% caffeine).  Siberian ginseng root, gotu kola herb, fo-ti root, gingko leaf, schisandra berry, licorice root and ginger root.

Herbal Cinnamon Orange:  Rooibus needles have been blended with cinnamon and orange to produce an infusion that is lively and red with sweet citrus finish.

Herbal Red Flower:  Peppermint leaves are the base for this wonderfully lively blend of herbs, which include rosehips, hibiscus, lemon balm and orange peel.  Good vitamin C content.

Licorice Spice:  The sweet flavor of licorice root is combined with cinnamon, orange and lemon.  Medicinally, this infusion is known to aid in treating ailments of the throat and respiratory tract.

Peppermint Spice:  The penetrating flavor and aroma of peppermint leaf have been melded with allspice, cinnamon and clove to produce a strong and spicy infusion.

Rooibus Needle:  South Africa.  Known to aid conditions such as insomnia, irritability, headaches and hypertension.  Used to treat allergies and skin irritations.  Contains anti-oxidants.

Yerba Matte-Green:  South America.  Contains anti-oxidants, boosts the immune system, great nutritional value.  The athletes’s boost without the caffeine.
